Frank has more than twenty years experience
in software management, technical consulting, and software engineering.
As a technical consultant, Frank has performed technical analysis relating
to antitrust issues, copyrights, trade secrets, and patent infringement.
In addition, he has conducted numerous software patent studies, portfolio
analysis, and prior art searches. Finally, he has served as a technical
consultant in several high-profile litigations.
Prior to technical consulting on legal cases, Frank was the Director
of Development at Terisa Systems where he managed all aspects of the
company's security-protocol development. Before that, Frank held several
software-engineering positions at ParcPlace Systems, including Manager
of Internationalization and Team Leader of the core Smalltalk engineering
group. Frank received his M.A., Mathematics, from the State University
College of Arts and Science, Potsdam, NY and his B.A., English from
the University of Texas.
